June16 SunRISE in Wisconsin : 22 minutes LATE
Late has been normal of past week or so, but the spot/level where I marked the Sun on May 15 at 6:10 AM took until 6:32 to be reached, today.
June 16 SunRISE in Florida : 27 minutes LATE
It was 27 minutes late in Florida, not early. Days started getting shorter 2 weeks ago.
June 16 SunRISE in Indiana : 56 minutes LATE
Seems to be late here in SW Indiana. 6:16 AM and 1st rays hitting the trees. Was supposed to rise at 5:20 AM.
June16 NOON in Florida : 28 minutes LATE
It is 1:28 here now and the Sun is lingering just to the east of midday. This is very disturbing news. It´s best to begin preparing for the worst from this point on. I do not like the looks of this at all.
June16 NOON in Texas : 22 minutes LATE
1:22 Central time in Texas and the sun is directly overhead. My shadow is right where it should be.
June16 NOON in Florida : 38 minutes LATE
It is 1:38 in Florida and the sun has just now reached its midday point directly overhead. This is not normal at all. Very worried here.
June16 NOON in Florida : 30 minutes LATE
I checked the midday point for today in Florida, and as I feared it is off significantly. Last time I cheked it at 1:30 PM ET the Sun was just beginning to enter its Solar Noon position. This is very abnormal as Summer Solstice should be directly overhead at 1:00 if we take into consideration daylight savings time.
June16 NOON in Wisconsin : 7 minutes LATE
We put several high noon markers in place, which with DST is 1:00 PM when the Sun is directly overhead. Our 1:01 marker was 6-7 minutes late, not a big difference from yesterday.
June 16 NOON in France : 0 minutes
I took this measures at high noon, at the meridian of Paris, thanks to a highly precise device: 0 minutes late. Remember the issue of solar time / mean time / official time, is quite complex. The Equation of Time must not be forgotten: for the moment, the sun passes at high noon actually later and later, and this will be going on till the end of July, but this is predicted by the equation of time! http://www.astronomynotes.com/nakedeye/s9.htm, http://www.ipp.mpg.de/~awc/sundial.html, http://freepages.pavilion.net/users/aghelyar/sundat.htm
