Early in the ZetaTalk saga the Zetas warned that worldwide food shortages would appear during the 3 years prior to the pole shift. The topic of food shortages was featured in the April 6, 2008 newsletter. Just when the food shortages appeared is debatable, but worldwide shortages began appearing in the year 2000 and have steadily gotten more acute. The April 27, 2008 newsletter detailed a rice shortage, resulting in worldwide rationing. At the start of the ZetaTalk saga in 1995, the Zetas warned that drought would be the major cause of devastation affecting crops. They warn that family gardens, and developing the skill sets necessary for successful gardening such as saving seed will almost be a necessity, if not prior to the pole shift then certainly after the pole shift.

ZetaTalk Prediction 7/15/1995: Of course, leading up to the cataclysms, not all produce will fail. Greenhouse crops will come through. Backyard gardens, tendered carefully by watchful eyes, will survive. But the large cash crops that supply crowded population centers will find little to market, and the prices will go up accordingly. Should the reader think that planting and harvesting will go on as before, they should realize that the gloom that follows a cataclysm is devastating to vegetation. If vegetation survives the droughts that precede the cataclysms and the hail and firestorms and high winds that occur during the cataclysms then it must next survive an almost continual deluge and lack of sunlight.

One of the countries most devastated by drought is China, which struggles to feed its people even in good times, and thus its restrictive birth control program of one child per family.

The drought in Northern China, the worst in 50 years, is worsening, and summer harvest is now threatened. The area of affected crops has expanded to 161 million mu (was 141 million last week), and 4.37 million people and 2.1 million livestock are facing drinking water shortage. The scarcity of rain in some parts of the north and central provinces is the worst in recorded history. The drought which started in November threatens over half the wheat crop in eight provinces - Hebei, Shanxi, Anhui, Jiangsu, Henan, Shandong, Shaanxi and Gansu. China produces 18% of the world's grain each year.

In Australia, drought continues year after year and lately record heat has been added to the mix. Per the Zetas, the heat can be expected to continue as a problem until the pole shift.

Australia has been experiencing an unrelenting drought since 2004, and 41 percent of Australia's agriculture continues to suffer from the worst drought in 117 years of record-keeping. The drought has been so severe that rivers stopped flowing, lakes turned toxic, and farmers abandoned their land in frustration. The Murray River stopped flowing at its terminal point, and its mouth has closed up. Australia's lower lakes are evaporating, and they are now a meter (3.2 feet) below sea level. If these lakes evaporate any further, the soil and the mud system below the water is going to be exposed to the air. The mud will then acidify, releasing sulfuric acid and a whole range of heavy metals. After this occurs, those lower lake systems will essentially become a toxic swamp which will never be able to be recovered. The Australian government's only options to prevent this are to allow salt water in, creating a dead sea, or to pray for rain.

In the United States, considered the breadbasket of the world for its grain production, things are not much better.

California is facing its worst drought in recorded history . The drought is predicted to be the most severe in modern times, worse than those in 1977 and 1991. Thousands of acres of row crops already have been fallowed, with more to follow. The snowpack in the Northern Sierra, home to some of the state's most important reservoirs, proved to be just 49 percent of average. Water agencies throughout the state are scrambling to adopt conservation mandates.

The Texan drought is reaching historic proportion . Dry conditions near Austin and San Antonio have been exceeded only once before - the drought of 1917 - 18. 88 percent of Texas is experiencing abnormally dry conditions, and 18 percent of the state is in either extreme or exceptional drought conditions. The drought areas have been expanding almost every month. Conditions in Texas are so bad cattle are keeling over in parched pastures and dying. Lack of rainfall has left pastures barren, and cattle producers have resorted to feeding animals hay. Irreversible damage has been done to winter wheat crops in Texas. Both short and long-term forecasts don't call for much rain at all, which means the Texas drought is set to get worse.

South America likewise has been hit by drought, devastating production in Argentina and Brazil.

The worst drought in half a century has turned Argentina's once-fertile soil to dust and pushed the country into a state of emergency. Cow carcasses litter the prairie fields, and sun-scorched soy plants wither under the South American summer sun. Argentina's food production is set to go down a minimum of 50 percent, maybe more. The country's wheat yield for 2009 will be 8.7 million metric tons, down from 16.3 million in 2008. Concern with domestic shortages (domestic wheat consumption being approximately 6.7 million metric ton), Argentina has granted no new export applications since mid January . Brazil has cut its outlook for the crops and will do so again after assessing damage to plants from desiccation in drought-stricken regions. Brazil is the world's second-biggest exporter of soybeans and third-largest for corn.

This pattern is repeated in Africa, India, and Asia. Food prices will surely rise, and shortages appear on the shelves. Per the Zetas, the answer to these threats is to get serious about home gardening, along with the skills needed for success in this area.

ZetaTalk Advice 7/15/1995: Those groups who have prepared, and are relying on themselves and their own carefully tended gardens, will not find themselves pinched between starvation and hostilities. Fortunately, the easiest produce to grow is that most economical as foodstuffs. Humans have but to return to their recent past and relearn these lessons.

ZetaTalk Response 1/17/2009: Are you planning a garden this year? Have you purchased the tools and seed? Have you educated yourself on how to save seed and what the best produce for your climate and region might be? Have you looked into co-ops in your area if unable to have a garden at your home, or familiarized yourself with farming in the area to see if you might keep chickens or goats on a farm nearby? You most likely have done none of these steps and are being too lazy to start. You prefer to complain and expect to be rescued.

What are the signs that the N American continent is being pulled at a diagonal, as the Zetas say.

ZetaTalk Prediction 2/10/2006: The giant plates of N America and Eurasia are locked against each other, unable to rotate against each other due to their shape. The N American plate does not move, per se, but other dramas occur. This creates a diagonal stress on the N American continent where New England is pulled to the east while Mexico is pulled to the West. The stress on the N American plate will resolve by ripping. Ripping the St. Lawrence Seaway open. Pulling the SE down into the crumbling Caribbean and into the widening Atlantic. The notable area of catastrophe during this is the eastern half of the continental US. From Houston to Chicago to New England. A widening Seaway also does not affect just those land masses bordering the Seaway, as buckling occurs inland and afar.

Residents in Crawford and Sebastian counties in Arkansas and Adair and LeFlore counties in Oklahoma reported feeling and hearing rumbles. The Sequoyah County sheriff, said the department has checked with every mining company in the county but none have reported any blasting. The Oklahoma Geological Survey which has seismographs stationed across the state, including Arkansas, detected no ground tremors on the days and times residents reported feeling and hearing rumbles. Sequoyah County officials hope to find closure because they've been getting more than 50 calls a day to their 911 dispatch center.

About 325 tremors have been reported in the Dillsburg area since October 3. Three earthquakes have measured a magnitude of 2 or greater on the Richter Scale since October 5. Scientists with Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory of Columbia University placed portable seismographs in the area and recorded hundreds of micro-earthquakes between October 24 and December 11. Preliminary results show a roughly northwest to southeast lineation. Jones visited with residents in the Dillsburg area Friday, checking to see what they've been feeling in recent weeks. Some people have gotten used to the tremors and haven't been reporting them. Residents have reported smelling sulphur at times with the earthquakes.

Per the Zetas, Pennsylvania is the point where land will bob up or be dragged down. The New England area will lift during the pole shift, due to the St. Lawrence Seaway being ripped open and the detachment between New England and Quebec allowing the land to bob up. But likewise, Florida and up along the East Coast as far as Pennsylvania will be dragged down, a total of 150 feet by the time the pole shift is complete. Pennsylvania has a lot of sinkholes, and now is reporting quake swarms.

ZetaTalk Advice 2001: The East Coast of the US south of the New England area will suffer during the pole shift, due to general stretching of the plates under the Atlantic during the crustal tension ahead of the shift, with the crust resisting a ripping apart so that the land on the edges of the Atlantic Ocean are pulled down. This is most intense the closer one gets to the equator, so that the southern states along the Eastern Seaboard of the US will go under water to a surprising degree, bouncing back when the rip occurs. The closer one gets to the Arctic, the less tension there is. This will bring the islands in the British Isles underwater, and along the southeastern US too for an astonishing drop in level beyond what the inhabitants think possible. The New England states will find themselves bouncing up during the shift, due to the quick ripping of the already separating St. Lawrence Seaway prior to the shift, where the southern states will find themselves pulled under the water prior to the shift. The entire peninsula from central Pennsylvania north, will experience a bounce, but being on the edge of this drama, Pennsylvania will have its toes in water but its head above water.

Planet X During Eclipse

Often there is some capture of Planet X on film during an eclipse, as occurred recently on January 26, 2009. The photos on official NASA related sites never show any evidence of this, but filters can affect what is captured and what is screened out.

There is no solar flare at that position on that date. In fact, the Sun is quiescent lately.



Per the Zetas, an eclipse is assisted by aliens so that those who would be too anxious will think that all is normal -- nothing amiss. But for those with eyes to see, evidence of presence of Planet X is there.

ZetaTalk Response 1/24/2009: Such events are needed by many who would go insane if they realized that the presence of Planet X and the pending passage are real. These individuals will go insane when the time comes, but until the last weeks the Council of Worlds has deemed it important that the influence of their self-focused insecurity be kept at a minimum. The Council wants the level of anxiety to be reduced, as then empathy and love can reign as the stronger emotions rather than fear and protection of the self. Thus, until the progress of the passage of Planet X is at such a point that the last weeks are imminent, allowing a simulating of the seasons or moving planets to effect an anticipated eclipse will continue.

There is a threshold, when it will be no longer possible to deny the presence of Planet X - for instance, the rolling of Earth into the 3 days of darkness, or the lean to the left that precedes these days of darkness. There will be increasing evidence for those who can address reality such that they can make their plans for themselves and their loved ones. But at the same time, there will be an appearance of normalcy for those who would be gripped by fear and driven into hardened denial. Thus, a duality which has been emerging will be evident with an even stronger polarity. For those who need denial, hallmarks of normalcy will be present. For those who can handle the truth, the Earth changes will become stronger and the wobble more apparent. Both will be present, simultaneously.
